With a heavy heart I’m sharing the news that a much loved teacher in the Lower Elementary, LaDonna Brusch, has passed away on Sunday, April 28th. Those who knew LaDonna will always remember her smile and advocacy for the child. She has been a part of our community for 21 years. She started volunteering (as so many of us did) when her two daughters were in the elementary program, Aria & Mila.
LaDonna served in so many roles at CMA: toddler, pre primary assistants, gym & art teacher, assistants in both the lower and upper elementary classrooms and finally having her own classroom. She had just finished her 6-12 Montessori Certification and Masters in Montessori Education from Xavier University. She was the lead teacher in the lower elementary Comet room for the past three years.
